Description
It seems that the old Lefèbvre printing and the building which overlooks it were renovated and built in land partially built by the Avard architect in 1902, on the site of an old house of companions from the 16th or 17th century, with the help of the cabinetmaker sculptor J. Cardio and the entrepreneur Biziau. Among the developments made at the beginning of the 20th century, only the wooden front of the printing and the facade of the small building above the window under pediment would still be present. In addition, the arrangement of the premises of the former Broult Dividis bookstore, which would have been in place since the opening of the bookstore around 1907, is probably attributable to the same professionals.
